Fresh Spirulina

The fresh spirulina is pressed, and will contain about 20% water content. As we were taught in France it is best enjoyed within a week of harvest. If you feel that you will not be able to finish up your jar, no worries, just make some tablespoon sized balls, freeze them to be used another day. Easily toss one in your smoothie, and blend. Frozen fresh spirulina will last about eight months in the freezer.
